FACE

I met this boy at work today
He asked me what I was doing
I fed him the same jargons
That mostly keep me going

It's a decent pay, decent work
Work is five days a week
Weekends are off at office
When all my stress finds retreat

I told him how much I love
Being busy, typing, posting
I also told him about a dinner
That my folks back home are hosting

I told him how much I miss
A hunger of the homely dishes
Then we picked lunch from a junk station
And I spoke of more fond wishes

I confessed the ugly cobwebs
That I let form on my guitar
I shared a song that people call gay
And how it got me so far

At last, I asked his name & noticed
His face, his name was mine
Or was mine, his face and name
Stuck in a different paradigm
