THE LUST CONCERT

She rose upon my surface
like a lingering fragrance,
That lingers still- unaware;
Returning from the caves
of a jumbled conscience.
Blaring like a siren
Through darknesses of the night,
Through unsung nuances of light.

Our infinity chased the world away,
Leaving us awake in blue light
With a plastic that was reality;
And a reality that was not,
But only seemed to be
At our disposal.
Like an outlet for convenience,
Like a temporary reverence.
